Induction heating
1,5 to 80 kW
For steel and other metals that conduct electricity. You harden exactly the zone you need: the heat is generated directly in the material, and the penetration depth is controlled by varying the frequency.
From 1,5 to 200 kW. You get equipment built to your specific requirements and demands, as a freestanding machine or part of your production line.
Induction for materials that conduct electricity, dielectric heating for materials that insulate. Choose a model for description and technical data.

For electrically insulating or poorly conducting materials: drying of wood and glue joints, heating of plastics and vulcanising of rubber. A glue joint in a laminated beam is done in two minutes, against four hours with conventional heating.
For the generators: KS 88.0100, KS 92.0100 PV and KT 89.0100.
Shorter cycles, lower energy use and a temperature you can control accurately, because the heat is generated directly in the work piece and only where it is needed.
By generating the heat directly in the work piece, exactly where it is needed, all thermal transport problems are eliminated. Heat losses are reduced to a minimum, allowing the energy to be used more efficiently, irrespective of the material.
Using conventional heating methods, it takes about four hours to glue 6″ laminated beams with resin glue. With HF heating, the entire operation is completed in two minutes, because the heat is generated uniformly throughout the material.
Heat treatment is often required to harden only certain parts or surface areas of, say, a shaft, a saw blade or a high-pressure nozzle. Inductive heating locates the heat to exactly the required parts.
The ability to control temperature and heating time with high accuracy is sometimes vital to production result.
HF heating methods are particularly suitable for integration in automated production processes. As the equipment is compact and contains no complicated mechanisms, both floor area and transport equipment can be saved.
Compared with heating by gases, petroleum products or solid fuels, HF heating has minimum environmental impact. No dusty process areas requiring higher ventilation capacity: HF heating is clean and quiet.
The majority of HF heating equipment can generally be operated by unskilled labour, often after only a few minutes simple instruction.
You can start operating an induction hardening equipment as soon as you turn on the power. Stopping it is just as simple.
Tell us what is to be heated, how large the parts are and how many you run, and Krister Küller will take it to the workshop in Norrtälje.
